 Happy 90th birthday, Doris Day.
Thanks for Pillow Talk, By the Light of the Silvery Moon, Calamity Jane, The Man Who Knew Too Much, Midnight Lace, kitten heels & the best blonde bouffant ever caught on film.

And plus, George Michael mentioned you in two songs. Therefore, you must be very important.

I LOVE Doris Day movies!!! I would watch them over and over and over with my grandmother. Pillow Talk, Where Were You When the Lights Went Out (Hello Peter, so you're here…), Lover Come Back. Yes, love her 🙂

  2. Kayla Beck says:

She is my all-time favorite actress, and I especially love her comedies! Move Over, Darling and Please Don't Eat the Daisies are two of my favorite Doris movies. I also really like My Dream is Yours (which was on last night)! TCM is showing her movies all week, so I've been in hog heaven. 🙂

  3. Ophelia London says:

I love her too much, too. Her cute little walk and her feminine-yet-exasperated huffs. TMC is so good at featuring bday stars. I wonder what's on tonight!

  4. Archna Sharma says:

I guess I must tune in to a Doris Day film now. Delightful little blog you have here!

ps~And when the moon and cupcakes are mentioned, everything else is magic. 🙂
